We are going to tell you the true face of Jonna Johnsen who has deceived us ( OneRide.mx , his Main Sponsor for the 2020 Mexican Enduro bike season ) in the worst way for the love of her boyfriend-coach Manuel Riestra ‘Chilakill’ from Dirt Ranch Valle Bike park located in Cerro Gordo, Valle de Bravo, Edomex.

We have been biking since 1995.
One of the channels to promote imported bicycles in Mexico was to build a team of young Elites riders in Enduro and Cross-country disciplines.
Jonna Johnsen was the first person we’ve sponsored; I am sorry for this decision.

STAGE 1: A ‘Love-story’ kind BEFORE signing the sponsoring contract
For about two months, the relationship with the girl was kind, cordial with a sense of moving in the same direction.

STAGE 2: Very belligerent contract negotiation
The first version of our sponsoring contract has never obtained a clear answer from the Johnsen & ‘Chilaquil’ couple.
It was 2 minutes before going up to the Epic Colorinazo Podium, at 10:00 p.m., that coach Manuel Riestra has threatened us NOT to sign the contract if we don’t give the bike away .
The feeling of having a gun to your forehead.
A few days later, the signing of the contract in Colonia Polanco Cdmx was atrocious, terrible.
The authoritative tone of Riestra, their demands and were insulting attitude .
The girl said almost nothing, like looking in total submission in front of her boyfriend-coach Riestra .
But we have maintained confidence in the girl, as a normally well-educated European, until
sign a contract with her based first of all on GOOD FAITH .
The strange thing was the girl’s willingness to obtain a size M bicycle, instead of her 180 cm height that justifies a size L frame.
The reality behind this detail was another manipulation by the boyfriend-coach Riestra to get himself a bicycle that suits his own height, shorter than his Miss Jonna.
STAGE 3: The couple broke all ties with their main sponsor 10 days after signing the contract
A few days after signing the sponsoring contract, Manuel Riestra ‘Chilakill’ contacted us aggressively asking about ‘his’ bikes.
His intention was to obtain the same:
- a downhill painting,
- a top enduro bike,
- a dirt bike for their Dirt Ranch Valley loop.

Faced with our denial since he had definitely taken away our desire to help him,
The couple removed the common group WhatsApp and did not answer our emails.
They broke the relationship.
All the social media posts by Jonna Johnsen have never contained some #Hashtags in favor of our business .
Can someone tell us what is the use of investing around 10 000 USD in a young rider without getting anything in return?
STAGE 4: Manuel ‘Chilaquil’ Riestra complained to RedBull Austria and Team MS Mondraker DH World Cup
Violating the confidentiality clause , Manuel Riestra ‘Chilakill’ contacted RedBull Austria and the MS Mondraker DH World Cup Team to complain;

And if you can, why refuse to wear the jersey for the official photo under the tent when all the other riders on the team are wearing it? Where is the reciprocity, the collaboration, the Good Faith on the part of the Girl?

WHAT WAS OUR ERROR IN THIS STORY?
Trust, without double checking.
It was too late when people started talking about the couple. We have not sufficiently obtained information about them, passing next to a reputation as a fraudster in the Mexican cycling industry (* is what is heard by third parties who know the couple ), as several witnesses will indicate to the Court.
And how can you imagine that a 29-year-old European girl from Denmark , apparently well educated , with a relevant sports pedigree is going to fool you like this?
What to think of the other young people on the Team, who despite having less favorable conditions than Jonna Johnsen, have collaborated with us with the best nobility ?

LOSS OF THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE MONDRAKER BIKES SPAIN BRAND DUE TO THE FAULT OF J. JOHNSEN AND M. RIESTRA ‘CHILAQUIL’
Manuel Riestra’s immense communication talent has worked well to this day:
until the Headquarters convinced the brand in Spain that they are the good guys and their Mexican sponsor – us – the bad guys.
The Mondraker Spain brand has taken away the distribution of its products in the Mexican Republic without warning , but taking advantage of all our efforts to assemble an Elite team and spending a fortune in digital presence with our own money.
Our experience, a small business in a country that they consider to be of no interest, “third zone”, should serve other Importers so as not to get confused about what the Mondraker brand is going to offer them: ZÉRO.

The Mondraker Brand leaves us with a bitter taste , full of arrogance.

WHAT WILL BE MANUEL RIESTRA ‘CHILAKILL’ REACTION TO THIS ARTICLE?
